Questions and answers
How does Sphere AI use my data?
Your pages and files are only used to answer your own requests. They are never used to train AI models, by us or by the AI providers we work with. On Enterprise, providers keep zero data after a request is done.
What are AI credits, and why does the Free plan not have them?
Every AI action, like rewriting a paragraph or summarising a meeting, uses credits based on its size. Credits come with Plus, Business and Enterprise and reset every month. The Free plan gets smart tools instead: table of contents, smart paste, link previews, writing stats and more. They run without AI models, so they are free for everyone, forever.
What counts towards file storage?
Images and files you drop into pages, and files people send through your forms. Pages and databases themselves never count.
What happens when a form reaches 100 responses on the Free plan?
The form stops taking new responses until the next month starts, and every response you already have stays safe. Upgrade to Plus any time to keep it open.
What is a block?
A block is any piece of content on a page: a paragraph, a to-do, a heading, an image, a table. Individuals get unlimited blocks for free. Workspaces with two or more members get 1,000 blocks to try Sphere together.
How is pricing calculated for the paid plans?
You pay per member, per month. Guests are free. Pay yearly and save up to 20% compared to paying monthly.
How do I get charged when I add members?
When you add a member, we charge only for the days left in your billing period. When you remove one, you get credit for the unused days.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, charged in US dollars. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice.
Do you offer discounts for students and nonprofits?
Yes. Write to us from your school or nonprofit email address and we will set you up with a discount.
What happens to my work if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Your workspace moves to the Free plan and every page, file and form stays where it is.
